Description
Dendritic Agate
Dendritic Agate, is not actually true agate as it doesn’t have banded patternation. It is, in fact, a rare translucent, white or grey type of chalcedony that contains fascinating organic-looking iron or manganese inclusions. These tree or fern-like patterns are known as “dendrites,” which is derived from the Greek word for “tree-like.”
The “Stone of Plenitude,” it grants abundance and fullness in life to those who treasure it. It’s not an instant fix crystal though, Dendritic Agate slowly releases its energy and is in it for the long haul with you. Connected deeply to the earth it was associated with tree spirits and dryads with ancient Greeks burying it in their fields to ensure a good harvest. In the same way, it can nurture your growth, refresh your energy and slowly assist in behavioural changes. It is an ideal crystal for those in therapy or those undertaking some self-examination. It teaches us patience and self-healing.
