Leopard Skin Jasper

As with most Jasper, Leopard Skin is a form of microgranular quartz and/or chalcedony but with the addition of natural organics, minerals and oxides giving each type of Jasper a unique patternation and colour. Leopard Skin Jasper has a really lovely soft colouring with spots resembling the fur of a Leopard, hence the name. It is generally mined in Brazil, Mexico and Africa.

If you are in need of an animal totem then Leopard Skin Jasper is the perfect way to make that connection. It acts as a protective talisman in the earth realm and on astral travels. It encourages us to be brave and honest with ourselves to enable renewed strength and vitality. During times of chaos, Leopard Skin Jasper provides a stable anchor which grounds us and keeps us true to our own path. Used as a shamanic stone for ancestor rituals and ceremonies it is strongly connected to the Root Chakra and helps you access your own spirit more easily.

Dear Friend & Fellow Crystal Lover,

Thank you for discovering my cabinet of curious crystals. I choose each piece with care, love, and knowledge of these millennia-old marvels. History is trapped in these stones so I only pick a crystal if I feel it’s energy and look in awe at its beauty. If I love it, I know you will too.

Keep it safe, you are this precious crystal’s new guardian. It has survived massive tectonic pressure, chemical reactions and outlived the dinosaurs, your crystal’s journey is now in your hands. Be the keeper of its legacy.

With love, hugs and crystal blessings,

Madame Formtastica
