Moss Agate is not a “true” agate. It does not have the concentric banding of agate but is a form of transparent or milky white Chalcedony. This beautiful and unusual crystal instead has organic, irregular patternation of green, brown and pink inclusions formed by manganese or iron oxide. You can find Moss Agate in the US, Europe, India, Brazil and Uruguay.
