Artisanal Pure Palo Santo Incense

4.99

Shaman’s Secrets. They heal, they bless, and they smell incredible.

This is one of my all-time favourites. Pure, hand-rolled incense made in Peru, crafted with care and deep respect for the land.

100% Palo Santo
Made from leftover wood of pure Palo Santo, with no additives or fillers. The Palo Santo used comes only from naturally fallen branches of the non-endangered Bursera graveolens tree. Nothing is cut down. Nothing is wasted. This matters to me.

Healing Aroma
The sweet, warm, woody scent of Palo Santo is deeply healing and uplifting. It purifies energy while soothing the nervous system, making it perfect for rituals, meditation, or simply resetting your space.

Positive Vibes
It’s smoke connects you to a sense of love, light, and inner calm.

I truly love this incense. Once you try it, you’ll understand why.
Fair warning: it’s addictive in the best possible way.

*Palo Santo is an umbrella term used to describe a variety of botanicals such as Bursera Graveolens, Bulnesia Sarmientoi (also known as Verawood) and Guaiacum (often abbreviated to Guaiac) which is where much of the confusion has begun. Only Bulnesia Sarmientoi (Verawood) and Guaiacum (Guaiac) are listed as an endangered species. Bursera Graveolens is not listed as an endangered species or filed on CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).

Palo Santo from the Bursera Graveolens tree is not cut from living trees. This is a prohibited practice as the species is considered sacred. The holy wood is harvested only if it has fallen naturally. The fallen wood then needs 3 to 5 years of drying to produce the right conditions for the oils to be released and for it to burn and smoke correctly. These trees are still considered vulnerable and a lot is being done to support the many small communities which rely on the industry.
