Our stunning Sphalerite showcases the best of this mineral, shades of grey, white and purple. It has pockets of druzy Fluorite, giving it a serious amount of sparkle. This would make an ideal statement piece in a stylish home.

Sphalerite is a mysterious crystal, it can be very hard to identify, so when it was first discovered in 1847 this ambiguity was woven into its name, sphaleros meaning deceiving in Greek. It is found around the world and its colour can vary from transparent, white, pale blue, black, brown, red, and yellow. Often found in habitat with other minerals such as galena, quartz, fluorite, calcite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, dolomite, and rhodochrosite it is mined around the world.

The combination of minerals in each piece makes each specimen unique in appearance and metaphysical properties. It’s a bit like the “pot luck” of the crystal world depending on what’s contained in your specific crystal. The general consensus is that it provides a strong metaphysical shield while energizing a space and the people in it. It is strongly connected to the earth, giving off very grounded vibrations enabling a good Yin Yang balance and helping to rebalance mental overstimulation. Amazing for an office space or home space where things get a little OTT.
